Requests start with a person.

Over time, sports days, trips, performances and school years spread images across many folders. Finding photographs of one student becomes a manual search through each possible location.

02 · The approach

Build on the workflow
teams already know

Begin with the photo source teams already use—often Google Drive in practice, without locking the archive to one provider—and add NIST’s search and review layer around it.

The school controls who can access the workspace and what each role can do.

No automatic identity approval

A suggested result remains a suggestion until an authorised staff member reviews it.

The pilot begins with an agreed data set, user group and operating process.
